1953 - Tricky Dicks to the Jalopies

Cast Changes: Gil Stratton Jr., Emil Sitka, Angela Stevens and Mary Ainslee were leaving. Kenneth MacDonald, Dick Brooks and J.D. McDuffie were rejoining, and Murray Alper, Buddy Arrington and Cecil Gordon were also joined in.

Plot: One man escaped with money, got killed by a thug, and Stooges decided to find a killer. Ten drivers, including Marty Robbins, had the important role. The two titles "Tricky Dicks" and "Jalopy" were part of it.

The Stooges saw the guy named Slug McGurk, and he left with money. Vernon reveals that the owner of the house, Louie, was in England with the Bowery Boys. Marla called Louie that he needs to leave early. Kenneth MacDonald and Tom Kennedy, who was in the uncredited role, got the Stooges, and J.D. and Buck Simmons arrested the two, which had to be Slug's partners.

Slip decided to be a race car driver, but Louie got mad at him. Daisy, played by Connie, decided to marry Shemp, but Marla told her not to. Buddy Arrington and Dick May were playing poker as Marla told them that Slug was at large.

Ronnie and Rick Newsom played as roommates as they heard the shot, McGurk's other partner kidnapped the boy named Herbie, played by Rudy Lee. Marla saw McGurk dead.

Herbie bites the man's hand twice, and the other man said, "Stop the boy," and Richard Childress and Cecil Gordon got the same boy to get to bed. Connie is slick chick as Cecil tied Herbie's hands, and gagged Herbie's mouth with a handkerchief. Ferris Taylor wants the Stooges to have 24 hours for finding a killer who killed Slug.

Marla, who was still a cop, untied and un-gagged Herbie to go back to his parents, and his last name is Melson.

Louie got mad at Dick Brooks and Marty Robbins as Marla told Moe about Herbie. Gilbraith Q. Tiddlewadder thinks that he killed McGurk, but no, the man reveals that he killed Slug in the first place. He shoots almost the whole thing until Ronnie and Rick come by. Ronnie pushes the killer. Marla had a pet monkey named Jinzy as she shoots the ball, and the ball hits the real killer's head three times. Marla told Ronnie and Rick about the man's name was Murray, and the victim's real name is Michael Aloysius McGurk.

Marla and the nine drivers attended a Marty Robbins concert, and Sach, Slip and Louie were thankful as Herbie and the younger boys were getting rowdy at the club.

Daisy married Shemp in "Up in Daisy's Penthouse." Herbie's character last name is Melson in this episode, but not in "Private Eyes," but changed to Wilkins in the next film "...Meet the Monsters," and the same last name was used in the next episode.
