1944 - The End of the Road
Cast Changes: Mickey Laughlin, Ted Musgrave, Dick Brooks, Ronnie Thomas, Buddy Arrington, Dick Curtis, Ernie Morrison and Bobby Jordan were leaving, and Christine McIntyre and Iris Adrian had joined in. Symona Boniface was the only one who rejoined on the set, and Curtis had a guest role.
Plot: The episode features the kids' departure to visit new parents, and Bud Jamison's health. The football stars visit Huey Lewis, and the Stooges were at the Van Bustle household to get the guy.
Mazie, who was played by Iris Adrian, saw a guy named Andre as Glimpy and Muggs saw them. Vernon plays the news editor as he fired four rough and ready guys, and hired the Three Stooges. Janet, Froggy, Mickey and Buckwheat had a radio show at the doctor's office, but were kicked out on the premises.
Bud decided to hire two butlers and a cook, but Moe said, "Never mind that order." Marla told Rick that she will keep an eye on Lindsay Bourquin, Betty Phares and LaVerne Thompson before he heads to a race track. The Stooges had a drama play as a rehearsal, and the East Side Kids decided to go to the Cortland house.
Vernon and Christine McIntyre read the flyer of the Huey Lewis and the News concert as six football players heard it. Muggs' dad Bernard gives a telegram to his son, and send it to Marla and it said that Froggy, Buckwheat, Mickey and Janet decided to adopt by the new parents.
Marla and Ron went to the Huey Lewis and the News concert as several football stars, including Joe Montana had a cameo role. Meanwhile at Shaam's house, Curly had ice in his hands, and Bud told him to have ice tongs. Larry rips Mrs. Van Bustle's drapes.
Still at Shaam's house, Marla and Ron saw a turkey with a parrot inside, and they decided to leave, not even Shaam, who heads to the safe with Bud, and Moe took a picture of Shaam, who is now a crook.
The next morning, Buckwheat, Mickey, Froggy and Janet were leaving home to visit new parents, and Ron reveals he had a new ride with a guy named Hoss Ellington. That story was in memory of Bud.
The telegram is about the Cortland fake death in the "Million Dollar Kid," and Vernon reads the flyer of a monster named Lupe in "Idle Roomers."
