1941 - Looking For a Party Crowd
Cast Changes: After the death of Charley Chase, Carl Switzer, Darwood Kaye, Iris Meredith and Bud Jamison were leaving. Huntz Hall, Symona Boniface and Dick Brooks joined in and Bess Flowers was also rejoined.
Plot: The lyrics are from David Lee Murphy's "Party Crowd." The kids attended the group Atlanta's concert, and the Stooges had a society party at Marla's house.
The five kids decided to have a minstrel show, owned by Froggy's uncle Walter Wills, but it already had a nine men group called Atlanta. Marla and the five kids attended the show for the same group.
Muggs was headed to reform school as Bobby, Huntz, David Gorcey (Leo's brother), Scruno and Skinny were at the pool place. During the medley of country and rock songs, Trevor Boys was late talking to Marla. Scruno was shining Bobby's shoes as Muggs was released from reform school to become a police A.C. man. Vernon told Bess that there was no cake.
Janet had a fall breaking her left leg, and Ron told her about the valve or a rod way back. Sara Haden played the teacher named Pipps, and Clarence Wilson told her to leave for not having a birthday party. Christian Rub is a janitor.
Dick Brooks was nervous about the race car as he told Marla about it. The Stooges were at Marla's house for a society party, and Clarence is attending as did 12 guys, six football guys, and six racing guys.
Buddy won the million dollars. The butler hit a cake into Moe's face. Symona Boniface was next, and Fred, John and Ted told Symona not to. Vernon also attends, more pies thrown, and Robert tells Keith and Randy to get Clarence. Before that, Spanky whips Froggy, Moe told them to stop, and Dwight was mad, but Rick and Russ were part of it. The three girls hit a pie at Clarence, and Marla bans the rest of the guests like the Stooges, except the twelve guys, and five kids. Froggy broke the only microphone before going to bed.
The kids had the minstrel show in "Ye Old Minstrels," and the girls hit a pie at Richard Fiske in "In the Sweet Pie and Pie."
